Appointment of New Chief Justices for Bombay, Meghalaya and Orrisa High Courts made (Read Notification)

Government of India has notified the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium and elevated Mr. Justice Dipankar Datta from Calcutta High Court to the Bombay High Court as its Chief Justice.

The Government has also elevated Mr. Justice Biswanath Somadde currently a Judge in Allahabad High Court as the Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court.

The Central Government has also notified the transfer of Mr. Justice Mohammed Rafique as the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court from Meghalaya High Court.
